An alleged Real Estate Investment scam was discovered by the SEC and have since charged David Connolly of Watchung, New Jersey.  The SEC alleges that Mr. Connolly operated a phony scheme that duped clients into more than $2 million of real estate investment shares.  Mr. Connolly operated Connolly Properties Inc. which was suppose to supply real estate investors monthly dividends from cash-flow profits from shares purchased.  The profits were would come from rental income from apartment buildings as well as property appreciation growth profit.

Armed with protein bars, a harmonica and a camera man, Truman senior Daniel Schlake is ready to embark on his second attempt to walk from Kirksville to St. Louis.

The first time I did this because I like making challenges for myself and finding things that seem almost impossible, Schlake said.

He said that he believes at first glance that the 188.8 mile walk to St. Louis seems somewhat impossible, but that he accepts that challenge as an opportunity for self-improvement.

Last year, Schlake said that he had gotten about 100 miles into the journey before he was no longer able to continue due to exhaustion and running out of time in his previous-planned five day schedule....

Dentist Nupur Talwar, facing trial along with husband Rajesh for the 2008 murder of their daughter Arushi and domestic help Hemraj, has been asked by Dasna Jail authorities to stop penning a book on the case till she gets court permission.

Jail officials said Nupur has already written 15 pages of a book she plans to title The Story of an Unfortunate Mother. She has told them she will seek court permission on Monday.

?We have asked Dr Talwar to take court permission before writing the book,? Jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma said. Nupur has been at the Dasna Jail since April 30 after her plea for bail was rejected.
